This dual purpose waterfront cafe is part of the North Carolina History Center addition to the Tryon Palace Complex. Named from New Bern history, Lawson's Landing, this riverwalk cafe brings visitors to the center into the experience with coffee, lattes, teas and light fare for breakfast, and lunch by the river. Pastries, fruit cups, sandwiches in assorted breads, soups, salads, snacks, appetizers, and desserts are served daily from 9 AM until 2 PM. Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM this cafe transforms into Aperitivo, an ideal evening setting for drinks and appetizers
