The Birthplace of Pepsi Cola
256 Middle St.
New Bern, NC 28560

(252) 636-5898

This store is a well-maintained reproduction of pharmacist Caleb Bradham's soda fountain serving ice cold Pepsi right where the drink's inventor served it up himself. First known as Brad's Drink when Bradham concocted the sparkling cola in 1898, the beverage was known world-wide 50 years later. A gift shop offers a plethora of Pepsi merchandise, everything from bags, books and bears to shirts, toy trucks and limited-edition collectibles. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sundays from noon to 4 PM.
