The Wedding Shop, a complete bridal and prom store, is located on U.S 17 South, 3 miles south of U.S. 70 and less than a mile from New Bern High School. Owner Claudia and her experienced staff help each bride select a dress to enhance her beauty and celebrate the spirit of her wedding day. The shop carries bridal gowns, mother's dresses, bridesmaids and flower girl dresses, prom gowns, tiaras, veils, shoes and accessories. Alterations and customizing services are readily available, and Tuxedos Too for the groom and his men is right next door.
No appointment is necessary to try on bridal and bridesmaid gowns created by B2, Belsoie, Casablanca, Dessy, Eden, Emerald Bridal, Ella Rosa, Moonlight, Jordan and Raylia Designs. With a selection to fit any budget, The Wedding Shop offers Bridal Specials on its website. Store hours are Monday noon to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Call for winter hours.
